Responsibilities You will serve as a ALTERNATIVE INSPECTION PROGRAM MANAGER and be responsible for serving as the Heartland District's primary subject matter expert (SME) on U.S. laws and regulations, Coast Guard policy, and international agreements under which private company personnel, Third-Party Organizations (TPOs), and Recognized Organizations (ROs) conduct certain delegated inspections, examinations, and other services for U.S. flag domestic commercial vessels on behalf of, and as an alternative to, the Coast Guard.
