Minimum Qualifications
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Licenses/Certifications:
Current Pharmacy Tech registration or Pharmacist intern registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required. ACPE I.V Certification with completion of 40-hour course in I.V. admixture preferred.
Pharmacy Sterile Product certification through accredited program is required if incumbent compounds sterile products.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Three (3) years of pharmacy experience required, preferably in a hospital pharmacy; employees hired on or prior to January 28th, 2022 are grandfathered in with 2 years of experience.
Must have knowledge of medical terminology.
