Responsibilities

• Review inbound deal flow
• Generate deal flow
• Support the execution of transactions, including both internal and third‑party due diligence, structuring, negotiations, and transaction documentation
• Track sourcing activities and pipeline of new investment opportunities
• Assess investment opportunities, conduct initial due diligence, provide analysis, and prepare investment memos or present at the investment committee
• Generate ideas and lead analysis

Marketing and inbound investor leads management

• Oversee marketing; assist in newsletters and more

Trading

• Evaluate portfolio positions
• Write portfolio updates and research reports; travel to conferences and speak with industry insiders
• Contribute to and occasionally write other issues for Empire's paid products
