Manages the daily operations of the anatomic pathology laboratory, including the secretarial/transcription staff, histology department, cytology department and pathologists assistants. Directs the operation of the anatomic pathology lab on a twenty four hour basis. Ensures that all staff reports to work promptly and accurately. Works with the staff and gets their recommendations on new procedures, ideas, instrumentation and technologies. Oversees billing of anatomic pathology specimens.
