Ozarks First in Springfield, MO, is seeking a versatile storyteller to lead our weekend newscasts as the primary Anchor and Weathercaster. The ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator with a strong on-air presence, exceptional news judgment, and a genuine passion for serving our local community.

Responsibilities:

+ Deliver live, scripted news and ad-lib weather forecasts with clarity and confidence.

+ Write, edit, and fact-check news scripts for accuracy and clarity.

+ Produce weather segments for broadcast and all digital platforms, including our website and social media.

+ Collaborate with producers, reporters, and the production team to ensure seamless coverage.

+ Interpret and analyze meteorological data, including radar and satellite information, to create and deliver understandable and impactful weather reports.
