Anesthesiology - Pediatrics Physician

• Schedule: 3-4 days/week, 3-4 weeks/month; 12 weeks duration. Various shift options available including:
  • 8, 10, and 24 hour shifts
  • Day shifts, in-house call, weeknight and weekend on-call
  • Weeknight Call: 3p-7am
  • Weekend Call: 7a-7a
  • OB c-section/OB epidural: 7am-3p or 3p-7am (Sat/Sun 7a-7a)
  • Main OR: M-F 7a-5p (Sat/Sun 7a-5p)
  • Out of OR: 7a-5p
  • Nerve blocks: Mon-Fri 7a-5p
• Job Setting: 6 Anesthesia Rooms; Epic charting system; MDs doing their own cases
• Types of Cases: OB, General, Cardiac, Ortho, Neuro, Pediatrics
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
