Unit Summary
Comparative Medicine (CM) is a program within the Thrombosis & Atherosclerosis Research Institute (TaARI) in the David Braley Research Institute. TaARI's focus is on research excellence in thrombosis and atherosclerosis and CM focuses on the translation of basic research findings into clinically relevant models prior to evaluation in humans.
Position Summary
The Animal Facility Attendant's responsibilities include animal husbandry duties, processing of facility equipment as well as a limited amount of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. The husbandry component will involve participating in the daily health monitoring of animals and performing animal husbandry and care activities following established standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements (CCAC/OMAFRA).
