Reporting to the Integrated Physiology Facility (IPF) Manager and working within the School of Biomedical Sciences, this role delivers high-quality animal welfare, husbandry, technical support and service delivery across UQ’s Integrated Physiology Facility. You will be part of a collaborative, purpose-driven team supporting world-class biomedical research, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, biosecurity, and the wellbeing of animals, staff and students.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing expert daily care to laboratory animals, including standard and complex husbandry, health monitoring, animal identification, breeding support, euthanasia and tissue collection.
