Opportunity Description

Oxford University Hospitals NHS FT are looking for an Anticoagulation Administrator to join their team.

The successful post holder will be responsible for the provision of administrative duties within the Thrombosis Service, based in their Oxford Centre. The Oxfordshire anticoagulation and DVT service operates across two sites: the Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre at the Nuffield Orthopaedic site, and the pathology department at the Horton site.

Responsibilities

  • To administrate the Oxfordshire Anticoagulation service at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
  • To communicate dosing information and changes for patients on vitamin K antagonist medication to patients and the multi‑disciplinary team (MDT).
  • To staff the incoming telephone helpline associated with the Oxfordshire anticoagulation service, providing advice and assistance to anticoagulation patients, handling queries and triaging calls to the appropriate staff member.
