Opportunity Description
KCDSB seeks an Applied Behaviour Analysis Facilitator in Kenora, Ontario. Provide essential support and guidance to students with autism and related disorders.
In this full-time role, you will work closely with a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to promote equity and inclusion in educational settings. Your expertise in ABA will guide the development of effective behavioral support programs and foster student well-being and success across the board, from Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training to staff
• Provide coaching to school teams including teachers and assistants
• Design board-wide professional development in ABA and trauma-informed practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
• Lead the creation of inclusive behavioral intervention policies
