Applied Physicist — High-Field HTS Magnet R&D

Big Science Sweden is seeking an Applied Physicist for the High Field Magnet programme in Geneva, Switzerland. As an applied physicist, you will work on superconducting magnet technology, focusing on electromagnetic modelling, optimisation, and experimental characterisation of HTS REBCO cables and coils.

The ideal candidate will have either a master's degree with 2 to 6 years of experience or a PhD with a maximum of 3 years. It is essential not to have previously held a CERN fellow or graduate contract.
