Opportunity Description

CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research is seeking an Applied Physicist for the Future Superconducting Detector Magnets project. The successful candidate will design superconducting solenoids essential for the Future Circular Collider and engage in R&D of superconducting materials.

Your responsibilities include conducting studies on magnet performance, supporting conductor research, and supervising teams. Candidates should have relevant educational backgrounds and experience in superconductivity.

Contract duration is 24 months, with possible extensions and a monthly stipend of Swiss Francs.
