Applied Physicist: TPC Calibration & Data Quality

Big Science Sweden is seeking an applied Physicist to join the ALICE experiment team at the Large Hadron Collider. This role involves contributing to groundbreaking research on Quark-Gluon Plasma and high-rate heavy-ion collisions. The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree with 2 to 6 years of professional experience or a PhD with a maximum of 3 years of experience. The focus will be on optimizing and correcting procedures of the upgraded ALICE Time Projection Chamber (TPC).
