The Approval Officer Pharmacy Department is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving pharmacy-related requests, prescriptions, procurement documents, and controlled medication processes in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and insurance guidelines. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely authorization of pharmacy transactions to support safe and efficient patient care.

• Prescription Medication Approval – Review prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with medical guidelines. Approve or elevate prescriptions that require clinical or financial validation. Ensure controlled and high‑risk medications are properly authorized.
