Attend to all daily subcontractors meeting to discuss daily structure and architectural issues in order to meet the project target schedule. Check the site progress and safety compliance of the subcontractors and report the findings to the immediate superior and safety officer. Check the subcontractors' works are done accordance to the approved drawings/ details and take remedial actions for non-conformance. Equipped with the knowledge to conduct daily activities inspections with the project RE or RTO and take actions to clear their comments to ensure that the works are approved for commencement. Keep proper records of the inspection forms for future reference and submit as evidence for legal issue arising from unforeseen future defects. Show added confidence when dealing with general workers or subcontractors and peers, when in doubt to always seek consultation with senior site staff and to understand contractors contractual obligation and practice mutual respect at all levels.
