TheArchitectural Designer shall provide engineering services supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB).
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design services, when required by the customer, to include design calculations, prepare layouts, prepare detailed specifications, and prepare parts lists and estimates.
• Shall design, when the customer requires, an idea or rough sketch of a desired concept into practical items of equipment that can be economically manufactured.
• Provide information on the required parts which includes material composition, dimensions, electrical and safety characteristics, possible procurement sources, and cost information.
• Produce workable designs from rough sketches or verbal descriptions that include, but are not limited to, the design of mechanical components related to high-speed rotating machinery, the design of lightweight st...
