Opportunity Description
We are partnering with our client, a progressive local government council, to recruit an organized and knowledgeable Archives Administrator . This role sits within the Corporate Information Management team and is vital to preserving the council's history while ensuring compliance with modern statutory record-keeping practices .
Responsibilities
- Archival Lifecycle Management: Coordinate the seamless transfer of council records from active status to non-active archiving . Appraise, sentence, and prepare records for ongoing storage or secure destruction .
- Information Provision & Access: Provide council staff with timely access to required information and assist with retrieving data for Government Information (Public Access) Act (GIPAA) requests .
