Area manager eastern cape

Our client in the Eastern Cape has a vacancy for an Area Manager in its farming division. This position will report directly to the Head of Production and will be responsible to oversee the farming operations of roughly 500 hectares.

Key requirements for this position are: 10 years’ experience in citrus farming 3 years’ experience at an Area / Division manager level Ability to communicate in English and Afrikaans (verbal and written)

Key responsibilities for the position: Responsible for the crop estimation process: liaise with farm managers to obtain all information, consolidate information and link with Supply Chain to convey information for planning purposes.
