Armouring / Cabling Supervisor

PRIMARY FUNCTION

• The purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient flow of production within the departments and according to production schedules while providing technical support and meeting production objectives. This role includes the responsibility of supervising the operators within the department.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Organize the flow of production, which includes the manning of the equipment, based on scheduled orders to ensure quality production and delivery reliability.
• Hire, discipline, terminate and identify training needs for machine operators in order to ensure that they are adequately fulfilling the responsibilities of their position.
• Effectively communicate new policies and procedures to machine operators in order to ensure compliance.
• Provide daily support to the machine operators as well as maintain the morale of the hourly employees to ensure a positive working environment.
