Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Field based (UK)

SGS is seeking a skilled and dedicated Asbestos Consultant to join our team.  You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients and the general public by identifying and assessing potential asbestos-containing materials in buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough asbestos surveys in accordance with HSE guidelines and regulations.
• Identifying and sampling suspected asbestos-containing materials.
• Recording accurate and detailed survey findings using digital or paper-based systems.
• Assessing the condition and risk of identified asbestos materials.
• Providing clear and concise reports to clients, including recommendations for management or removal.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
