Opportunity Description

Summary This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Office of Facilities Support. You will be responsible for the management and operation of the Bureau's utility plants and systems (heat, ventilation and air conditioning, process air, vacuum and trim collection, electrical distribution, volatile organic compounds abatement systems, etc.). The Power Plant operates and maintains the related auxiliary equipment associated with each system. Responsibilities As an Assistant Chief Stationary Engineer, you will: Supervise employees engaged in the operation, maintenance and repair of the DCF's electric substation; high and low pressure steam distribution systems for heating, drying; air-conditioning and heating systems; and air and water pressure systems throughout the 1.2 million square feet of space within the DCF.
