ASSISTANT, DIETETIC & FOOD SERVICES

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals according to hospital menus and dietary instructions.
• Deliver patient meals accurately based on diet orders and ward schedules.
• Ensure food handling, storage, and service comply with hygiene, safety, and Halal standards.
• Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas, pantries, and service equipment.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies.
• Support catering services for hospital events, meetings, or special functions.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and infection control procedures at all times.
• Provide polite and professional service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Report any food quality issues, equipment faults, or safety concerns to supervisors.
