Assistant Director, Global Strategic Partnerships

Position Summary


The Assistant Director will coordinate with the Department to establish the processes and strategies needed to support current and emerging activities, specifically managing all aspects of marketing, communication, and event planning. Manage and coordinate all aspects of in-person, hybrid, and virtual events from concept through to ideation and event execution. Plan small to large-scale events such as conferences, seminars, symposia, and workshops, as well as advise on ideas for events, catering options, space, and staffing needs. Manage event budgets and provide financial oversight. Assess and recommend changes to existing protocols to optimize efficiency. Develop and implement a communication strategy to keep all stakeholders updated in all aspects of the Department’s work.
