Assistant Director (Workplace Plans and Policy)

What the role is:

You will lead a branch to continuously review a holistic plan at the organization level to enable effective coordination of implementation efforts for the development of Ministry of Defence / Singapore Armed Forces (MINDEF/SAF) workplace and infrastructure.

What you will be working on:

• Formulate and review policies and standards for the development of MINDEF/SAF workplaces and infrastructure
• Conduct master‑planning of administrative facilities across MINDEF/SAF camps and bases, as well as new infrastructure development for MINDEF
• Lead major infrastructure development projects
• Optimise workspaces for productivity, functionality, aesthetic appeal, and fiscal prudence
• Refresh administrative facilities across MINDEF/SAF camps and bases to meet evolving operational and organisational needs
• Obtain Approvals of Requirement (AORs) for infrastructure and workplace development projects
