Our local authority client is looking for Assistant Gardeners to join their operations team based in York. Onsite inductions will be held asap, so an immediate start is needed and the role is until mid September 2026.

This is a full time role, starting asap, Monday – Friday, 37 hours a week, with a lunchtime finish on a Friday. Work will be across a wide variety of residential sites in York. Previous experience of gardening/horticulture or similar, would be extremely advantageous. You MUST hold a current full UK driving licence, be used to working outdoors and be physically fit.

The rate of pay is £13.86 per hour.
