Assistant Hospital Housekeeping Officer

Summary The incumbent serves as the Assistant Chief of the Environmental Management Service (EMS) for the Orlando VA Health Care System (Orlando VAHCS). functioning as the principal deputy to the Chief of EMS. The incumbent assists in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating all activities of the Environmental Management service across all Orlando VAHCS locations including the main medical center, multispecialty outpatient clinics and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). Responsibilities Major Duties include but are not limited to: Prepares management briefings, budget reports, long and short-range goals, progress reports and management plans for presentation. Manages and determines priorities for Housekeeping, Waste Management, Interior Design, Equipment Management and Training, and Shift/Section Supervisors.
