Assistant Hospital Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This position primarily focuses on managing the veterinary technician staff with responsibilities that include:

+ Directing work flow on the floor
+ Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital culture
+ Work cohesively with hospital management and medical teams to aid in the progression of the hospital
+ Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
+ Conduct staff meetings
+ Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
+ Mentoring technicians within the department
+ Medical supplies ordering and inventory management
+ Controlled substances management
+ Medical equipment maintenance management.
+ Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner
+ Refining and implementing protocols
+ Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.
