Assistant Manager – Farmfoods, Mitcham, London
Full‑time permanent position. Working 43 hours over 5 days per week, including at least one weekend shift. Pay range £31,449.60 – £35,306.88 per annum.
Contract Details
Position: Assistant Manager (ASM) – 43 hours per week, 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and deliver excellent customer service.
- Develop and coach a team of retail assistants through mentoring and feedback.
- Act as acting shop manager in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are attended to, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed.
- Motivate and guide the team to control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
- Assist with recruitment, induction and training of new team members.
- Maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop environment.
