Vendor Management - Development and commercial know-how of Sheet Metal components. - Technically sound in manufacturing processes of Sheet metal components. - New projects Tooling/Capex estimation based on the part geometry. - Capacity evaluation of suppliers - Floating RFQ, technical synthesis closures, DVP closures with suppliers/R&D - Should have good knowledge of vendor database - Should have knowledge of Tooling and Welding fixture development. - Should have knowledge of New Projects supply management. 2. New Part Development: - Conduct DR (Design reviews) basis Engg. Drawings / blue prints - Drive Quality planning for new parts delivery (APQP or Advance Quality planning) with Suppliers - New Part development ensuring New Part's Quality meet the Design Specs & Standards - Validation of Tools / Dies / Gauge / Welding Fixture designs / concept & Proving out from Development stage, Buyoffs...
