Assistant Manager/Senior Executive (Waste Collection Department)

The Waste Management Division (WMD) is responsible for the regulation of the waste management industry and implementation of key initiatives under the Zero Waste Master Plan, to achieve an efficient and sustainable waste-to-resource management system in Singapore. The Waste Collection Department (WCD) under WMD administers the Public Waste Collection scheme, regulates General Waste Collectors, implements Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System and Code of Practice requirements and carries out enforcements against breaches of legislative and licensing provisions, to ensure that waste is properly collected for disposal or recycling.
