Assistant Nurse Manager - Ambulatory Surgery - Mount Sinai West - Full Time - Evenings (12pm-10pm)

**Job Description**

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a Registered Professional Nurse with broad knowledge and skills who acts as clinical leader in the daily functioning of the unit and oversight of quality patient care delivery, in conjunction with, or in the absence of, the Clinical Nurse Manager.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing required, master's in nursing or health related field preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in ambulatory surgery preop and Phase II (recovery) experience required; PACU experience will be considered.
+ Charge nurse and/or supervisory experience preferred. Must demonstrate relevant clinical competence in the assigned area of nursing practice.
+ CAPA (Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse) or CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) preferred
+ BLS, ACLS, and PALS from AHA required
