About the Role

Within the Housing & Neighbourhoods department we pursue efficiency and aim to deliver safe, clean, green, high‑quality services. This role sits in the Private Sector Housing Service which is transitioning to a more proactive, tenant‑focused, intelligence‑driven service.

Responsibilities

As the first point of contact, you will triage complaints from residents and members concerning disrepair, licensing, unlawful eviction and tenant harassment. You will allocate investigations to the appropriate team members and support the broader workstreams of the Private Sector Housing team, including partnership development with Homelessness, Housing Options and Tenancy Sustainment services. The role requires attending the office during normal hours and responding to same‑day complaints received via the Council’s Call Centre, a designated email inbox and reception.
