The Department of World Languages & Cultures at the University of Utah invites applications for a full-time, renewable Assistant Professor (Lecturer) position in Chinese beginning January 1, 2027. The teaching load is twelve credits per semester or equivalent (for reference, most language classes are four credits). The successful candidate will be prepared to teach Chinese language courses at all levels and content courses such as culture, media, and/or translation as well as to participate actively in curricular and program affairs.
