Position Summary
The Department of Physiology and the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University invites applications for a tenure-system faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
We seek outstanding candidates investigating the role of the peripheral nervous system in the regulation of physiology and disease. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, neuroimmunology, organ-brain communication, neuroendocrinology, autonomic neuroscience, sensory biology, neurovascular interactions, neuro-metabolic regulation, and neural mechanisms underlying chronic disease. We are particularly interested in investigators whose research addresses how peripheral neural circuits interact with other organ systems to maintain homeostasis or contribute to pathology.
