Job Description

Under supervision, and with latitude for decision making, candidate will perform field inspections; generate reports; meet with representatives from external agencies/utilities; attend meetings.
Specific duties will include but not be limited to the following:

1. Maintain oil/ water separator and fuel oil management systems equipment at different locations. Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and modification of oil recovery systems, which may include pumps, compressors, water separators, and wells used to capture, separate, and recover oil.
2. Manage oil requests for all 5 Boroughs. Provide mobile boilers as needed and repair fuel oil monitoring systems.
3. Assist with sample collection.
4. Assist in the oil tank maintenance and oil tank testing of vaulted tanks.
5. Supervise and guide front-line staff in the dismantling, assembling, and repair of oil systems, oil spills, and oil deliveries.
