Position Summary

The Assistant/Associate Professor for the GPNA is an academically qualified, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who meets state and national standards for licensure and certification. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, didactic instruction in face-to-face or online formats including simulation center; mentoring scholarly projects, and clinical site visits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists the Program Director and Associate Program Director as needed to maintain smooth operation of the program
Serve as advisor to assigned students/cohort
Attends ADCE and AANA meetings regularly for educational updates and networking
Participates in development, implementation, and evaluation of the DNAP program as assigned
Attends events related to orientation, commencement, and alumni affairs
Recruits, interviews, and admit applicants
