Associate Chief Academic Officer

**General Summary**

Direct and manage the day-to-day activities of the Office of Academic Affairs. Provide central oversight of residency/fellowship programs, compliance with institutional requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Provides oversight of finances for Graduate Medical Education (GME/Residencies/Fellowships), Undergraduate Medical Education (UME/medical students), Continuing Medical Education/Accredited Continuing Education(CME/ACE), the Medical Simulation Center. Oversees scheduling of visiting residents/fellows, Advanced Practice Provider (APP) student rotations, and medical student rotations. Provides administrative and financial leadership for the system libraries and associated library staff. Provides management and oversight of the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) visa application process for all foreign residency program applicants.
