Associate Compliance Surplus Lines Specialist

Job Summary : As a Compliance Surplus Lines Specialist, you are a member of the team responsible for the execution of the filing and payment of surplus lines taxes on behalf of Synapse and Synapse’s placing brokers. This position requires working knowledge of surplus lines tax regulation for assigned state(s). This regulatory insurance tax reporting position is deadline driven in reporting taxes to multiple states.

Essential Functions/ Primary Responsibilities:

Surplus Lines Compliance:

•Coordinating Surplus Lines filings, reports, and taxes in assigned states.

•Performs and coordinates all aspects of surplus lines tax filings (including, but not limited to, affidavits, stamping fees, and state filings).
