**Job Description**

**The Department of Emergency Medicine within the University of Washington’s School of Medicine (SoM) has an outstanding opportunity for an Associate Director within the Michael K. Copass, MD Paramedic Training Program.**

The Paramedic Training Program (M1PT) involves a dynamic environment. M1PT is hosted at Harborview Medical Center and by the Seattle Fire Department. The objective of M1PT is to educate and train paramedic students to attain advanced knowledge, experience, and skills to evaluate and effectively treat medical emergencies in the pre-hospital setting as mobile intensive care paramedics. Secondarily, it is the role of M1PT to supervise and manage all currently certified King County paramedics as the single EMS Provider Supervisory Organization.
