Course Overview
The course aims at preparing students for their final dissertation. It is divided into two parts: a first part reviews key elements needed to produce original research – how to write a literature review, define a research question, research design and review of approaches available to tackle a research question (quantitative, qualitative, empirical). The second part is specifically tailored to writing the final dissertation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver the teaching content over a period of 15 hours.
- Mark individual or group assignments if required.
- Communicate with the module leader to understand expectations and collaborate closely with the UP programme director and module lead on delivery content.
- Attend SIM and UP lecturers’ meetings.
