:The Associate Vice President, Financial Crimes will be responsible for the 3rd line of defence audit coverage for TD Bank Group's Financial Crimes related activities across the first and second line.
Reporting to the Vice President, Audit, Financial Crimes, the AVP is a leader within Internal Audit and responsible for overseeing and leading a team of Audit professionals. The general accountabilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
Develop a risk-based Audit Plan for TD's Financial Crimes portfolio and provide periodic reporting to governance committees including Audit Committees
Deliver the plan evenly over the course of the year subject to approval of the TDBG Audit Committees and regulatory expectations
Adhere to audit standards
Recommend, support & maintain appropriate resources to execute the plan, including the requisite subject-matter expertise
