Asst. Mgr. Automotive Engineering (NGY)

Purpose of this Position:

+ Manage the relationship and projects with OEMs to support the OE business plan.
+ Communicate customer's' requirements, expectations, technical gaps, and Goodyear's strategy and technologies.
+ Assist the teamwork of related functions to be able to meet customers' technical expectations.

Principle Responsibilities:

+ Contact customers and obtain pertinent information for OE tire development projects that includes OE target specification, technical feasibility study, technical trends, expectations, concerns, and gaps.
+ Communicate the information from customers to tire development teams to properly respond customers' expectations.
+ Communicate our technologies and technical approaches to customers representing tire development team.
+ Share information with other relavant functions (OE Sales, Marketing, QA, Manufacturing) to ensure the teamwork for engineering approvals and customer partnership.
