Overview This position operates in a college or professional setting, works independently with an assigned Primary team, while also supporting a Secondary team and the larger Sports Medicine team for all athletes. This position will provide medical coverage, both on-the-field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events. This position will have variable working hours, unpredictability of schedules, adjusting to match the needs of the partner, including multiple days traveling, weekends, and late nights. Responsibilities Understands and complies with NCAA or Professional League regulations/guidelines related to medical care, and to state and federal regulations. Keeps accurate documentation of insurance information of student athletes, evaluations, referrals and treatments administered.
