Attendance Assistant – to start September 2026

Term-time only (38 weeks per year), 37 hours per week. Fixed term post (in the first instance) to 31 July 2027 - Band E, scp 5 – 6 (£25,583 – £25,989 per annum, full time). Actual Starting Salary, scp 5 £21,347 per annum for 37 hours per week.

We require an Attendance Assistant to provide an efficient administration service to the school’s Attendance team and to support the Attendance Officer in recording and monitoring pupil absence throughout KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Provide administrative support to the Attendance team.
• Support the Attendance Officer in recording and monitoring pupil absence throughout KS3 and KS4.
• Have sound previous experience of managing one’s own workload.
• Be familiar with or willing to gain an understanding of the barriers to attendance and the strategies used to improve attendance.
