Attorney Advisory (General)

Summary The Office of General Counsel (OGC) provides legal services and guidance to all components of the USMS in matters that arise in the conduct of USMS missions pursuant to 28 USC § 566, and as delegated by the Attorney General. Responsibilities OGC is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as an Enforcement Attorney Advisor. Prior federal or state criminal prosecution experience is preferred, but not required. The individual will provide legal services and guidance to, inter alia, components of the USMS to ensure that law enforcement operations are conducted in compliance with constitutional and legal requirements, as well as U.S. Department of Justice (USDOJ) and USMS policy, and in a manner that promotes efficiency and public safety.
