Auditor IV - Tax Integrity

The Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) administers the Unemployment Insurance (UI) program which provides temporary income assistance to Massachusetts workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own and who are able to work, available for work and looking for a job. Under general direction of the Tax Integrity Manager, the Auditor IV ensures that all businesses subject to Unemployment Insurance Taxes as outlined in MGL Chapter 151A and other regulatory requirements are in compliance.The incumbent is responsible for independently conducting audits and field investigations. In addition to managing their own caseload, the incumbent is responsible for leading and supervising 3–5 Compliance Officer IIIs.
