Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
1. Automation System Design & Implementation
Design, develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
Integrate automation systems with injection moulding machines, assembly machines, conveyors, vision systems and testing equipment.
2. Injection Moulding & Assemble Automation Support (Added Advantage)
Support automation integration for injection moulding machines, including robot take-out, insert loading, degating and post-moulding operations.
Develop and optimize automation solutions for assembly machines such as part feeding, pick-and-place, screw fastening, press-fit and functional testing.
Work closely with Process Engineers to improve cycle time, reduce manpower and minimize rejects.
3. Programming & Control Systems
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robots (e.g. Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, Epson), and motion control systems.
