Automation Technician

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician -Automation trade will be an advantage.


• Min 5 years as a Technician/Electrician.


• Min N4 electrical qualification.


• Read and understand Electrical drawings.


• Read and understand P&ID’s.


• Electrical and PLC fault finding (Siemens S7, Delta, Allan Bradley).


• Able to work on 3 phase 400V supplies.


• Lead the Automation aspect of plant improvements, and on projects.


• PLC Programming.


• AC and DC Drive Set-up, programming and integration.


• SCADA applications development.


• HMI applications development.

Knowledge Required:

• Knowledge on PLC Programming (Siemens S7, Delta, Allan Bradley).


• Be able to do basic fault finding.


• AC Drives.


• WEG Exposure to SCADA’s.
