Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Tinker Auto Hobby Shop. Physical Effort: Requires frequent standing, bending, stooping, crawling under vehicles and working tight spaces. Frequently lifts, handles, and carriers parts and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. Occasionally move moderately heavy items with assistance or with mechanical devices, including objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds. Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to troubleshoot, repair, test, and/or overhaul major components on motor vehicles. Regular & Recurring Duties and Responsibilities: Provides instruction to patrons, as requested or as deemed appropriate, and on a regular and recurring basis, performs such duties as: troubleshooting; rebuilding and repairing automotive engines, major assemblies, and components.
