Automotive Test Engineer

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Test Engineer to support engine testing and development activities within a high‑performance engineering environment based in Warwick.

This is a hands‑on role working with multicylinder combustion engines, supporting performance, emissions, durability, and calibration testing across multiple test rigs and development programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and run engine tests covering performance, combustion, emissions, and durability
• Operate and maintain engine testbeds, ensuring daily readiness and safe operation
• Configure and monitor test cell systems including fuel, air, cooling, lubrication, and control systems
• Work with tools and software such as AVL PUMA, ETAS INCA, AVL CAMEO, and Indicom
• Install and validate instrumentation (pressure sensors, thermocouples, emissions equipment, flow meters, etc.)
